Digital Marketing Executive

My client is a growing, dynamic, award winning firm of accountants and business advisers with over 500 staff across multiple sectors in the UK and internationally. They are passionate about digital and have won recognition at both the British Accountancy Awards and the Managing Partners Forum Awards for innovation in digital client services.

About the role

You will play a pivotal role in the success of the Business Development (BD) team and its strategy. You will develop, lead and constantly evaluate the firmwide digital strategy in order to ensure it is ultimately delivering qualified leads to the BD and Head of Sales as well as meeting other brand awareness and communications objectives.

To ensure that the firm is seen as `cutting edge` from digital marketing, in line with
the firm`s commitment to innovation and to deliver qualified leads through digital channels to support the corporate growth strategy.

Key responsibilities
• Develop and execute a digital marketing strategy in line with the firmwide BD
strategy; evaluate and report on its success for the Executive Board
• Advise on all aspects of digital marketing across the BDM team and the wider firm
• Deliver high quality lead growth
• Demonstrate and analyse digital return on investment
• Deliver key messages to target audiences through relevant digital channels
• Campaign management and evaluation (including automation)
• Website management across three sites, including content management,
development management (overseeing agency)
• Advise stakeholders on best approach to site structure, template development and
content optimisation
• Liaising with external website development agency to continuously improve
websites user journey and conversion rates
• Track, monitor and report on all website leads using CRM platform
• Manage delivery of SEO (using agency)
• Manage PPC and paid social (using agency)
• Oversee, advise on and manage firm`s social media accounts, maximising their
effectiveness in reaching target audiences with our key messages
• Support technical liaison with IT in order to implement new or update existing
• Manage and report on effectiveness of email signatures
• Manage and optimise engagement of the firm`s polls and surveys
• Generating monthly reports from Act-on, Google Analytics, Google Keywords for
review by wider teams
• Manage and develop firm`s intranet site (on WordPress)
• Manage the firm`s video channels
• Manage and develop supplier relationships to deliver best value for the firm
• Provide all BDM team members with digital best practice guide and training
• Provide training to employees on effective use of social media


• Experience as a digital marketer in a performance driven environment
• Experience of clearly demonstrating the link between digital activity and return on
• Experience of managing co-ordinated, firmwide digital campaigns
• Hunger to learn and determination to deliver

• Team player with a positive attitude
• Proactive approach to supporting the firm`s BDM goals
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience in WordPress
• Experience in Google Analytics and AdWords
• Experience in using CRM systems
• Experience in Act-on marketing automation software, or equivalent
• Proficient LinkedIn and Twitter user
• Knowledge of marketing regulations and GDPR
